Garden Landscaping

If you want to do some landscaping, but you don’t want to fill your yard with plants that aren’t useful, you can think about doing some garden landscaping. Many plants that are generally sold for landscaping don’t do anything except look good. While this is nice, some people feel they are a waste of time and water.

Garden landscaping cuts down on the plants that don’t produce anything, and replaces them with herbs and vegetable plants. Many edible plants look just as good as decorative plants, and they don’t take that much more work. You are using your water for something useful, and you also save money on your grocery bill by growing your own produce such as vegetables and herbs.

Many attractive plants that you can use for garden landscaping start producing very quickly, such as squash, which has large yellow flowers. Other plants, such as strawberries, have pretty flowers but they take awhile to start producing. Some herbs also have very attractive flowers. You can combine types of plants in order to get a variety of colors and types of produce.
